Catherine L. Brown | President
Catherine Brown founded Initial Call in 2002. As the firm's president, she manages all aspects of its sales consulting practice.
Before starting Initial Call, Catherine was with Cambridge Technology Partners for five years, holding positions in marketing, account management and recruiting. While in marketing, she was responsible for planning and managing marketing campaigns and software partner events designed to generate new business at Fortune 1000 companies. In this role, she worked with a number of electronic commerce technology vendors and also with Microsoft. As account manager for the central United States, she grew her sales territory to deliver more than $6 million in consulting services.
Catherine has a B.A. from Rice University in Houston and has completed advanced courses in CustomerCentric Selling and TAS Group's Target Account Selling methodology. She has also completed coursework in the energy services industry offered through the National Energy Services Association.
