Initial Call is a fast-growing virtual firm that provides B2B sales process consulting, pre-sales research, prospect qualification, and sales support services to companies. Initial Call clients include professional services firms as well as software and product companies.
Initial Call Client Partners serve as the primary contact between the team and client throughout the life of a project. Client project length varies from one month up to two years. The ideal Client Partner will manage several accounts and have potential to sell Initial Call services. 

All Initial Call contractors work from 15 to 20 hours a week from their own offices. Compensation includes a competitive hourly base pay plus bonus on team performance.

Responsibilities:
Client Relationships:

  • Owns senior-level client relationships and works to contribute strategic value beyond day-to-day operations 
  • Shares responsibility for 100% client retention by maintaining mid-to-senior level relationships at client accounts 
  • Proactively identifies client risks or opportunities and manages client teams to effectively respond to these client needs 
  • Provides thought leadership to help guide clients with inside sales strategies 
  • Builds strong rapport with new and existing clients 
  • Successfully manages the master service agreement (MSA), statement of work (SOW) and change requests 
  • Prepares, leads and/or participates in client presentations 
  • Keeps accurate, timely oversight of team work in CRM (usually Salesforce.com) 

Team Management:

  • Provides status updates on assigned accounts -- regularly monitoring overall account health, project status, opportunities, risks, etc.
  • Leads highly skilled teams to enhance and deepen client relationships: 
    • Identifies key issues that are associated with clients within their industry 
    • Identifies specific challenges and determine priority for them 
    •  Builds team expertise through mentoring and training 
Qualifications: 
  • 10+ years of progressive Sales experience 
  • College degree required, MBA or other advanced degree preferred 
  • Demonstrated track record of developing senior level client relationships - strong client references are necessary 
  • Experience managing teams of 3 or more people 
  • Strong knowledge or experience in Sales and Sales CRMs 
  • Marketing expertise a plus

  •  Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a bias toward candor delivered in a way to move relationships forward to trusted, long-term collaborations 
  • Track record of leadership, coaching and mentoring abilities 
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills Sound business acumen; strategic thinking 
  • Demonstrated prowess in all MS Office programs.
